Chapter 13 – The little details
One evening later that spring Mom returned from work in a strange mood. She was clearly preoccupied by something but as usual was being mysterious about it. I reckoned that this was one of her methods of keeping control of my life. After supper however, all was revealed.

Lillyn is arriving at the Pyramids Of Kentoshan.
A whole new area to explore (and to get disappointed).
New people to meet (and screw up the introduction).
Of course, some people are already aware of Lillyn and won't ask twice for an audience.

Typing furiously at her keyboard, tears poured down Erica's cheeks. The words she wrote were bittersweet, speaking of the love they could have had and the future denied by a single choice. The choice of one of them to give up on their love. They had overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. Torn apart so young, just as their love had begun to blossom, that they then found their way back to one another after so many years of pain apart was nothing short of a miracle.

Before I started The Feminine Queendom. I still had not finished Bab's newyears Resolution, so here is the next chapter of Babs' New Year's Resolution

Part Twelve

Melody kept her word. She did not try to get back into the headquarters of The Protectorate. However, there were other places associated with them which were - hopefully - not nearly as well protected.

 
Maybe in the distant future, androids, when they gather, speak wistfully of Omaha and environs.
For all I know — for all that anyone knows —
Omaha may very well be the number one destination for time-travelers
who like to throw elaborate monkey-wrenches into other people's lives.
 

It's a hard life for a bright boy in the Feminine Queendom Part 5

This part fills in some of the events that happened in the final Chapter of Beverly Taff's The Feminine Queendom 90
She kindly gave her permission for me to post this.

Then the news came that shocked the nation. The prime minister had been arrested and General Wilson had been shot. This all happened during accusations of treason against Queen Sophia. The nation waited to see how the situation would unfold.

I had not been looking forward to Christmas at all. It had been a really tough year for me and I needed to just get away from everyone and clear my head.

This is Part 3 of a story about a bright boy living in Berverly Taff's United Queendom. Recent events have caused unrest. Peter and his mother are affected. With the end of Beverly's amazing story . This is my take on what some of the events may have looked like from someone living in the UQ.

As before I will edit or delete the story if Beverly doesn't approve. My ideas are guesswork into what may have happened.

Jack’s Private Lear Jet:
Bree was asleep and had her head on Aylin’s lap as they enter Montana airspace. They had been woken up in the middle of the night and driven to a private airfield. Even Jester was contacted and brought to the airfield.

When they boarded the plane, Tizzy, Lien, Ikaika, and Omphile had been on the plane. After a few hours of flying, they landed again and picked up Cheshire. Lien had been excited that her grandmother was coming with them. She was asleep on Cheshire’s lap as well.

Part Eleven

That tactic seemed to work. The thing stopped, then the part sticking above the tall grass scanned back and forth a bit, as if looking for her. Through the weeds Melody saw that the automaton was segmented, and could fold like a carpenter's rule. The thing unfolded the part with its, well, head further, sending the main sensor array higher. Melody knew that some of these devices responded to motion, and held still.
