My Land is an island. The locals call it ‘Land’ because it is all the land most of them know. It is some hundred miles off the coast of a rather disreputable South American country where the rule of law was haphazard to say the least. It is about 20 miles long and 16 miles wide.

By the time the night cycle began aboard the Queen’s Rage, the mess deck had transformed from a sterile cafeteria into a celebration zone. Fluorescent lights had been dimmed and replaced with soft golden hues, casting a warm glow over the crowd. Streamers and makeshift banners—scavenged from storage and splashed with squad colors—hung between bulkheads, fluttering with each vibration of the ship’s engines.

Author's Note: Hi, thanks for reading my story. Now that Christmas is over I can return to these darker chapters. This is a flashback, 11 years ago. Hopefully illustrating how much Whit and Lucy have been through. On a personal note I had a wonderful Christmas. My wife bought me a jewelry box with a little spinning ballerina, something I've always wanted. I had my second HRT appointment and found despite my conservative plan I'm getting very close to female levels. Still, fully coming out seems impossible.

With his suitcase gone and a story still to write, Mark finds himself falling deeper into his accidental role. As "Holly's" borrowed clothes start to fit a little too comfortably and Luke Shepherd's smiles become harder to resist, Mark begins to realize the real problem isn't getting out of Pine Hollow. As the limousine arrived at the Paradise estate, Henry and David exchanged glances, contemplating what the future might hold. Once the vehicle came to a halt, Kevin opened their door and officially welcomed the men to Paradise. Gentlemen, welcome! Please follow me as we help your wives settle in and begin their training. Kevin guided Henry and David into a large building and down a hallway leading to his office. As they walked, Henry and David observed that all the women were attired in either 1950s style dresses or micro mini skirts, with every woman sporting stiletto heels.

Henry and David had been friends since high school. The two engaged in various activities together, including playing sports, pursuing the same women, and indulging in considerable drinking. Both men had married well; Henry was wed to Ellen, a career-oriented woman, while David was married to Linda, who hailed from a wealthy background. Together, Henry and David operated an investment firm that thrived throughout the 2030s, until the significant crash of 2036.
