My excitement at seeing her almost caused a pile up as I grabbed my brakes, those behind luckily managing to avoid running into me.

“What are you doing, Drew Bond?” Caro demanded.

“It's Gran.”

By now I was stopped and the rest were slowing in some confusion ahead of me.

This is just something that popped into my head while I was trying to fall asleep. I hope a few people here enjoy it.

The caution is only due to a fairly subdued reference, but I still felt it better to have the caution than to leave it out.

For Friends and Family. Andy is looking for a new challenge, his current girlfriends sister has suffered a nervous break down, Andy is very similar in both size and looks, agrees to be changed into a Nichola look alike. This is a dream for Andy who has a secret desire to live and work as a woman.

On the ride to L.A. I reflected on how ...natural and comfortable I was being Jodie, ...or Olive ...or even Juanita. Many names, same girl..... same ….me. It was now Jody... or Joseph Junior... or Cadet O'Donnell that seemed like the fiction... or a biography I'd read. I remembered events from his life, but not viscerally. All the recollections were in my head... but none of them any longer lived in my heart.

Marooned In Paradise

This is just a small segment of a story / series I'm working on. For some reason this scene demanded to be written, yet timeline wise I'm nowhere near this in the work in progress.

I get the feeling that if I was to just write the scenes that come tto me and edit into the right timeline this would go much faster.

Virtual Reality, the dream of all gamers, is now a reality with the land of Ilos.

However, it's creators are unknown, and no one knows how the devices they have access it, only that they do.

CHAPTER 35
I was in work the next day, but in my own HQ instead of Cardiff. It felt strange, after so long in civvies, but the uniform was the thing that had helped me hold things together when life had thrown shit at me. That dreadful funeral, the confrontation with Mam and Dad, the ritual had helped me cope. Siân was on a stupidly early start, so I had to eat breakfast alone. I hated early turns, so as I was now effectively supernumerary, I had treated myself to a nine o’clock start.

“There you go. He doesn’t care about you as a person; he just wants you because you’re pretty.”
