United States Independence Day Special Number One! I've been thinking... rather than the whole, writing a 'Behind the Scenes' what would people think about simply having a no FTS-questions barred chat session that I could log and then post? Just answering the questions and explaining things? Here's part 13, though we're getting close to the end, and this is the longest FTS chapter yet! Hope you all enjoy it!

Leah and Joanie escape death with Miki's help but are not sure how. A radio conversation with strange call signs leads to a rest stop and a revelation. Joanie and the MCO clash again. Leah is reunited, briefly, with her parents. A bumpy flight to Oahu leads to dinner, a night of drunken sex, surfing, TV, singing and shopping. I'm not saying who does what.

        It was nearly eleven-thirty at night when Christina stumbled through the door of her apartment. Her legs burned after ascending the six long flights of stairs. She let her suitcases drop; her arms feeling dull and stretched. The humidity in the dark apartment was oppressive, the hot air encasing Christina's skin, causing every inch of her body to sweat. Feeling the energy seep out of her muscles, she dropped onto her hard bed. She kicked of her shoes and socks then shimmied out of her tight jeans. Christina leaned back and turned on the fan mounted in the window over her bed. It did little more than cycle the hot air, but that was better than nothing.

Joan makes a new friend. Jared becomes an integral part of everyone's future... The band just keeps getting better and better...

Tyra finds a way to forget about Ketrick — for the moment. A royal wedding. A close friend dies, but leaves a great gift behind. A old face leads a new investigation, as Tyra prepares for the greatest shock of her female life.

A TS talks to her ex-wife about the TS's husband.

"Come in. It's open!" I said when I heard the doorbell.

My ex-wife entered and walked over to where I was sitting on the couch. My feet were under me on the couch and I was just sitting there, bleary eyes.

"Hi, Roberta, thanks for coming."

"You've been crying, Alice," she said as she sat by me. "What's going on?"

"This is weird. John wants to be a woman."

"Oh, shit."

"Yes, he told me he is going to the doctor I use on Wednesday and will start to transition."

"How do you feel?"

Okay, even though it may seem like I'm diverging into 4^th and 5^th plot tracks, this is all headed for a convergence. Really. Honest. I mean it. Stop looking at me that way! Anyway, I hope you're enjoying it!

My goal, by the way, is that when people get to the end of the story, they'll understand evrything by then, and won't have to be confused anymore -- honest! Hope you all enjoy!
