Chapter 2

When I woke up the next morning, I could feel the first effects of all the magic in my system. I was overflowing with energy, and had real trouble staying still. Since it was spring break and I didn’t have school, I went over to a nearby park and ran around, doing gymnastics I had never tried before, but no matter how hard I pushed myself, I couldn’t seem to feel any less energetic.

Most of the day Charlie and Jessie listens to music on his laptop. Jessie dances a little for the entertainment for Charlie and his baby sister to some of the music Charlie played for him. He can’t remember the last time he has had so much fun. The snow had slowed down outside.
Charlie looks over towards Jessie “why don’t you get bundled up and we’ll go and get some dinner?”

“Okay!” Jessie puts his mother’s coat on and bundle up Maggie so she would be warm. Charlie checks the steps to make sure they were safe to walk down. They could tell the parking lot had been plowed.

No sooner had Annabelle gotten her motorcycle put away inside the stables. The rain started to come down. Annabelle grabs her duffle bag and heads inside the house. Dawn had started on making lunch for the two of them. She was warming up some sliced chicken breast, chopped mushrooms, sugar peas and string carrots with herbs and spices in a frying pan. The fry bread she made the other day was warm from just a few seconds in the microwave.

“I’m in the kitchen.” Dawn had heard the front door open.

“Come on lazy. You still have three more miles to run before we get home.” Titanis had gotten her little sister up this morning at four in the morning and was out jogging.

She had to get Theia up to tip top condition. The body of the girl Freddy had been placed in might have been healed of all the negative effects of the drugs and unsafe sex it took part in, but she still needed to get her in top condition and use to it. That meant she was going to push her little sister till she was in shape.

chapter 1

If I had just listened to my girlfriend that day, everything would be different.

But I’m getting ahead of myself, and I should start at the beginning.

Things really started when Melody and her mother moved into the house next door.

They were kinda shy at first, but they warmed to my family, especially me for some reason.

“August still felt weird along with the other girls as well. Becca, what did they do to us?” Her voice even sounded different to her.

“Why don’t you informed the girls about what has been done to them Kat.” Rebecca and Lev were too busy flying the plane.

“August, right?” Paul looks at her.

August nods her head. It felt kind of strange and stiff.

Sasha couldn’t help to think there was more going on here. They had left the warehouse with the men still tied up waiting for Sasha’s aunt to send her team in. They had met her aunt a few times and knew she was a dangerous person.

Dusk and Jack had met Sasha’s mother and father and knew for a fact that both were dangerous. They had watched them spar against each other and saw how deadly the two were. They knew Sasha father was Special Forces and an instructor, but they couldn’t believe
Sasha’s mother. She was just as deadly as her husband.

Impulsive as ever Charlotte now goes in search of the English Army to plead with them to rescue Anna not knowing what path this will lead her.

In this and future episode’s of Book 2 I have borrowed very heavily from the excellent ‘Sharpe’ series of books by Bernard Cornwell which describe the times and the country perfectly.
I have avoided using any names in those novels but in a few places I have used Major Sharpe as an incidental character.

The Empress transmits a special multimedia news report that explained the strange happenings and illnesses around the Homeworld. A ‘Welcome to the Universe’ party goes awry when Camille’s mom and dad have a spat. What strange turn of events will the Empress of Time and Space experience this episode?
