Of course, the fact that it’s the start of August means that all weekdays seem to blend into one, even Mondays- though over the last few months, that’s been truer than ever, regardless of the summer break.

In between the upsells and button pushing's at work my coworker Becky and I were managing to have something of a conversation. Sore feet and Taco seasoning the next two most prevalent things of note in my senses.

“Come on it'll be fun.” Becky said as soon as we had a quick break in customers.

Walther Livingston is a penetration tester, employed to probe the security arrangements at National Reliant Bank where a vast quantity of diamonds are stored. He tricks his way past guards and through numerous barriers, but the final line of defence is like nothing he has ever encountered before...

The Judge was good on his promise to take me not only out of the city but right out of the state. Our journey was hardly discrete due to a three Police cruiser escort complete with lights and sirens out of the city. Then the county cops took over and four of them followed us right to the Washington State line. A local TV truck complete with a huge satellite dish joined in the convoy but according to the local radio, I was being run out of town because I was a threat to society. Not true but small-town politics are messy at the best of times. Thankfully, the state line was just over an hour away but it was clear in that the message they were sending me was very clear… ‘Do not come back or else!’

Making movies is sometimes like shooting craps in the dark. You don’t know if you’re winning or losing...

Strange and powerful memories started to flood over me. I remembered a time when I was just starting kindergarten. I attended a private kindergarten, one that had a playroom that was attached to the main classroom. I froze and peered up into the sky as I found myself falling through time and space. In the corner of the play room, there was a corner, a kind of private corner. I also remembered there were toy chests that held clothing that the girls in my class use to play pretend and dress up.

Lanie gaped at Angelina. Deep down, she knew Angelina was telling the truth, but she still couldn't get herself to believe it. A horrible woman like Angelina...Lanie's mother? The idea sickened her to her very core. "But how?" Lanie asked. "How can you be my mother?"

"I hooked up with your father nearly seventeen years ago," Angelina answered.

"What?" Lanie asked. "I thought you hated men."

Chapter 11

Ashley was just brushing out her hair, the slightly sore throat being the only evidence that was left of her blow job training as she once again looked immaculate. When all of a sudden the door bell rang making her nerves reach an all time high. God she still couldn’t believe this was actually happening, that she was going on a date with an actual guy. Yet she was sure to meet him at any moment now. Hopefully he was at least handsome.
