Dear Reader,

It has been 20 years since I last wrote in my journal.

My old journals and letters are no longer with me but I have some faith they remain preserved in Thamud where my husband and master still reigns.

I now sit in an inn in the land of the Qin where I have paid for a handsome room for a week, awaiting the arrival of my old friend, the Princess Pingyang.

Sometimes death isn't the end. Sometimes, people can come back with new lives and new powers. This is one of those times.

This is a serial story with litrpg and gamelit elements.

It was yet another night of the usual. Music, laughter, and the smell of wine mixed in with the feelings of lust permeating the halls.

One by one, the pavilions' regulars piled in, their expressions betraying their hopes of a night of pleasure.

Much was the same as the previous night, except for Poppy's absence tonight. She'd been distraught for much of the day, so much so that Madam Selene had decided to let her skip the evening's responsibilities.

Chapter 16

In their spare moments, Willow and Vivienne had worked out what songs they wanted and made a rough calculation of how many would fit between the guests. They had timed the guest’s sets, so had some idea of how long the show would last.

On Monday, Sebastian had the most star-studded passengers he had ever driven as he picked them up at the Britannia and took them to the school. He was interested to see what Willow had put together this time. There were several cars there when he arrived, and Garry came out to welcome everyone.

The rest is bullet points. No, not real bullets silly! There was only one of those and Peter its unfortunate recipient.
