Kelsey's dad had called and told his mom. She was a little harsh at the idea. At first Grandma Reid didn't like the idea of Amber being transgender. Of course she felt the same way about the girls. But she finally came around and totally accepts Amber and all her granddaughters. Unfortunately it is to soon to attend the reception on Sunday. But she won't miss the wedding, for anything.

Margaret (Simard) Vaeaolesau recovered rather quickly after having regained nearly 40 years of lost memory. To say she is happy is an understatement. She visits Simoné and Ivana for the birth of their fourth child. Margaret learns more about how they conceived their children.

Part Seventeen

"Hints and rumors," said Aaron, with an aggravated sigh. "Freeze Frame hasn't helped much; he can't find the Emergent any more than we can. After several subjective years of effort he left a note on my desk this morning that he was moving on to other pursuits."

"Wait," said Blackpool, alarmed. "He was here?! In the compound?!"

"At my office in Haven, actually," said Aaron, a bit amused at this near panic. "I don't think he knows where the redoubt is. Though he could probably find it given sufficient motivation."

A few days later my dad got a phone call. After the call, he announced that he had a visitor coming by regarding the body in the wall. He also asked that we not say anything about the specter.

As we know, the Raccoons and The Wizard have shown up in Chico, California. As to why they are there, we may never know. But then again ….

Christmas vacation was approaching, and my dad and Pop planned and made another Christmas visit a reality. Pop was coming to Texas to see the mountains of Tennessee.

The Final Chapter! When all seems darkest, that is when one has to be the strongest for that's the sign that the light is coming.

The story begins with The Wizard meeting with the raccoon family we met in the previous story, “Marti and the Doppelganger.” This story is also a follow up to the stories of Wanda, Tamesha, Penny, and Sidney. We only know what happened to Sidney. We haven’t actually met Sidney until now.
