This story is the direct continuation of my previous posting of the novel "The Wounded World." It is actually the second part of a single super novel. Sir Lukasz, aka Eden Blake, aka Mantra, has had a hair-raising adventure that seems to have occurred all in her mind over the period of a few minutes. She has taken Eden Blake's children home and put them to bed. But a few minutes later she has a knock on the door. When she sees who is there, she is very surprised. She's about to go off on a new adventure that will make the last one seem like a piece of cake.

Hmmm... let's see... we seem to have a little bit of an epic here. Something that I have been saving for quite a while. Lotsa sex, high heels, day drinking, speeding, and of course a little bit of music. (But not until the end.) I am quite proud of this story, but I have to publish it so I stop futzing, ha... oh, and I so hope YOU like it...

How did I get here? I was lying in an alleyway, weak, cold, taking my final labored breaths with my killer standing over me. He was watching me with that blank stare, his mouth stained red with my blood.

Even as I lay there unable to move, I remember feeling angry, so very angry. It's funny what stays with you in those last moments. For most it's fear, for a lucky few it's acceptance and serenity. For me, it was rage.

I replayed the events in my head thinking if there was anything I could have done differently to avoid the sad, pathetic state I was currently in.

Hemmed In

You’ve all heard the descriptions of different types of men. There are boob men, leg men, bum men, some that love tiny waists, pretty feet, even different hair lengths. Me, well, I was truly attracted to hems. It didn’t matter if they were on long, short, or mid leg skirts. It didn’t matter if they were on shorts. I didn’t consider hems on jeans or slacks as true hems worthy of my attention unless they were on those very wide legs.
