Overdrafted this morning, but we were prepared for it; an autopay hit, and we quickly covered it. This leaves us a bit short for mid-month expenses.

Ad revenue is way down, expenses are up. We need more revenue. We're stepping up book production, which will help, and thanks to everyone buying our books!

But we depend a great deal on contributions from our community to meet the expenses of the site and phone and internet access for each of us.

In the past year, Melanie and I have put more than $5,000 dollars of our own money into keeping BC operating. We can't keep doing this.

From the time I got up this morning till now, today has been one shitty day. I ended up having to get my car jumped because of a dead battery. The service I paid for to handle such occurrences taking their sweet time to get here. Thus I arrived late for work missing an important meeting, my immediate boss livid that I had missed it. Then my computer failed a little after eleven A.M. requiring the IT guys to replace the hard drive. Three hours of work that I had performed this morning lost in the process. Then the final touch to my horrible day occurred.
